Vincent and Flavia have stolen the hearts of the British public totally and utterly with their breathtaking Argentine Tango seen on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and at many shows across the country.
They met when they were in their teens, in England, both looking for new partners with which to compete. By complete coincidence they were both Italian, and apart from working on their dancing, Flavia's Italian improved and Vincent learnt to speak English so it was a real bonus to them both.
They competed successfully for many years and now looking back at their old diaries they find it hard to imagine how they managed to study, work, rehearse and compete internationally all at the same time.
Nevertheless their achievements in this period included; UK Professional Ten Dance Champions 2002-2006; UK Professional Showdance Champions 2003-2006; UK Argentine Tango Champions 2006 (First time competition has ever been held); World Argentine Tango Show Champions 2005/2006; UK Ballroom Champions for several years; World and European Ten Dance and Showdance finalists 2002 - 2006; Took part in Strictly Come Dancing TV Series in 2005-2012. Vincent reaching semi-finals with Louisa Lytton in 2006, and Flavia winning the coveted trophy in 2012 dancing with Louis Smith, the silver medal olympic gymnast.
In 2012 Vincent reached the finals of Strictly Come Dancing performing with Danni Hamer whilst Flavia and Louis Smith won the series and took home the much prized Glitter Ball.
By taking part in Strictly they discovered they had an incredible love for choreographing and performing shows, which resulted in their show Midnight Tango taking to the boards in 2010, and since enjoying three years of successful tours.
They have little time now for running dance classes or private lessons, but to fill the gap they have launched three DVDs teaching the Argentine Tango, and in 2013 launched a series of Apps for the iphone which teaches both ballroom and latin.
In another development Flavia has teamed up with Russell Grant using traditional dance moves to tone your body, and improve your cardio-vascular system whilst having some fabulous fun with Zalza.
For the future they have often thought it would be good to be able use their dancing skills for films in some way, but that is probably a pious hope, however they do very much want to use their dancing in the commercial world of product promotion. They have developed a strong brand name, VincentandFlavia which they would like to use to endorse products in which they are interested. Vincent would like to be involved in the promotion of fast racy looking cars, and Flavia been involved recently in the promotion of fitness products and would like to do very much more of that. Compering and hosting events is another aspect which Flavia very much enjoys, and having hosted several fashion shows, she would like to work with a fashion house to promote a VincentandFlavia Collection of fashion clothing.
